Capybaras are the biggest rodents in the animal world. They have good relationships with a lot of other animals.
They live in South America in wet places as rivers and lakes. Capybaras are not solitary animals because they live in herds of 10-40 individuals.
Their fur is short and brown and their eyes, ears and nose are higher on their head than at other animals. This characteristic helps them swim and see in the same time. Most of the times they can also sleep in water, far away from jaguars or cobras. Their webbed feet are also helpful when they need to escape in water. Being herbivores their incissors teeth help them eat plants and grasses from water or land.
Capybaras are important to the ecosystem as each of the other animals in this world.

As we already know capybaras are the biggest rodents in the world.
Capybaras' teeth never stop growing and they need to chew all the time. They can hold their breath under water for 5 minutes. Unlike the first video, in the second one their herds can have up to 100 individuals. In comparison to the first presentation we find out they feed on tree bark, seeds and berries, not also on plants and grasses.
In the first video it wasn't mentioned there nickname '' water hogs'' which expresses their love for water.
